The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Fighters Table

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a wide array of personalities, and a gripping narrative featuring celestial beings, demons, and dark forces expanding in strength within the urban setting.

Note: Key plot points for the latest installment of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

Episode 3 concluded with a dramatic pause and revealed the initial group of characters who will split off from the main group to undertake their own adventure, separate from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team includes Teor Pridesire (played by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

Dividing the Cast

Given a large ensemble, it was obvious from the outset that maintaining everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.

Hence, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Overture, weaving together the characters’ stories before branching into three distinct groups: Fighters, Strategists, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

As described by the DM, the warrior group is for adventurers who are drawn to a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven story mode where diplomatic options are rare.

Initially, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might look unsuited, but the events of episode 3 make it clear why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the group understands precisely where to go next after a violent initial meeting with the antagonists.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose death kicked off the narrative’s action—exploited The Crow Keepers for his own means, entering the hidden lair, striking the rogue, and stealing all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

Casimir then paid off his obligations and escaped to a secure base in the northern region, north of the urban center, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Moreover, each member has a personal reason to depart the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, desires vengeance.
  • The adventurer knows the northern area and cautions that it is a nasty environment.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having disobeyed his house’s orders to kill the target and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their position as key figures in the influential clan could enable the team reach locations they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, Teor vowed a eternal obligation to The cleric for his rescue and will now go with him wherever.

Wanted and Hunted

Finally, all of them are sought by the authorities that rule Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • Thimble and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and The healer betrayed the influential house and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • Teor is targeted for elimination by the family.

This means them few options but to travel to the northern region in search of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

According to episode three’s follow-up content, we discover that the warrior group will be absent next week, leaving the other eight cast members to round up the Seekers and Schemers groups.

Viewers can expect discovering which players will be where in the story’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
